I was born in North Carolina and moved to Long Beach (now Oak Island) permanently in 1981, spending the last 42 years right here in paradise. I've been a musician, cowboy, saddle maker, nuclear operator, municipal fire chief, and have over 20 years in law enforcement... all right here on the coast. I enjoy sharing my experiences over the years on and around the island, and my extensive knowledge of the area with my clients. However, above all of those things, I love helping people find their own place here at the beach. When I moved here it was a very close-knit community and a wonderful place to live and raise children. It is still beyond amazing today and I recommend it highly!
