Kelli Jeanne Pratt, Broker

A native of North Pownal, VT, she left her New England roots when she joined the Army in 1985. Serving our country for 4 years in Fort Sill, OK and abroad in Germany. When she returned to the United States she lived in San Diego, Miami and finally settled in North Carolina in 1994 and landed in Brunswick County in 2004. Her first home was on Oak Island, where she found a love for coastal living.



Working in real estate was never in her goals. When she moved to Brunswick County, she started over when she accepted a position at a real estate office. Helping other agents find success was exciting for her, learning the real estate business was a perfect match for her self-motivating side. In 2009, she found herself at a crossroads, with the recession and economy crash and had to start over. Kelli, who is not afraid of a challenge enrolled in college and pursued her education. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from American InterContinental University (AIU) with a bachelor's in business and her MBA. Working in the telecommunications industry since 2010. In 2019, she enrolled in real estate school and completed the steps to become a broker. Kelli is a member of the Rotary Club of Shallotte and an ambassador of the Brunswick County Chamber of Commerce. She believes in her community and is eager to be part of its growth and helping others.



Kelli currently lives in Bolivia, NC with her partner Joe Smith. Family means a lot to Kelli, she finally has her mom close by in Sunset Beach, who also fell in love with the area when she would visit. Joe and Kelli, have 3 kids who are living in the RDU area pursuing their own dreams. The youngest, Mack is a senior at NC State while the older two, Drew and Al, have graduated from UNC, Chapel Hill. Kelli feels blessed that she has Joe and his children in her life. When asked, or even if you don't ask, she will brag about their success at the first chance. Her immediate family is still in New England and she travels home to the mountains at every chance. She is a proud Vermonter and is still very much in touch with her hometown.



Kelli's hobbies are planting flowers, decorating, cleaning, reading and exercise. She has enjoyed running her whole life until a recent knee injury forced her to change her exercise routine by joining a gym. She loves being on the water, she and Joe are avid boaters. It is a whole new world discovering the waterways and canals of Brunswick County. Kelli loves to fish and will jump in the mud and dig clams all day. She prefers to stay in the waterways and anchor up and enjoy the day swimming and relaxing.
