Lee Hauser is the owner and broker-in-charge of Hauser Real Estate, Elizabethtown, opened in October 2013. For the previous seven and a half years he was a successful broker associate with Martha Lee Realty of Holden Beach and Ocean Isle Beach producing over 12 million dollars in real estate sales, as a buyer’s or seller’s agent of single family houses and residential lots.

Born in Winston-Salem, raised in Fayetteville, Lee was a radio broadcaster prior to beginning his real estate career in February, 2006. A graduate of Pfeiffer University with a BS in Business Administration, 1965, and the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill with a MA in Communication Arts, 1972, Hauser also served as an officer in the U. S. Navy, 1968-71. He is a Vietnam War Veteran with multiple meritorious service awards and citations.

His career in radio spanned 35 years in sales, management and ownership at radio stations in Chapel Hill, Wilmington, Wilson, Morehead City, Raleigh, Shallotte, Lumberton and Elizabethtown, where he and his wife, Nancy have resided since 1991. They have four children, twin grandchildren, a boy and a girl, by their daughter, who lives in Apex, and two more grand boys by their son who lives in Wilmington.

Lee is very familiar with the multiple real estate markets of Southeastern North Carolina, having sold properties in New Hanover, Bladen and Brunswick Counties. The vast majority of his sales have been to the buyers of coastal real estate in the beach towns of Oak Island, Holden Beach, Ocean Isle Beach and Sunset Beach. He plans to continue working with buyers seeking their Place at the Beach for vacations or retirement living and also to expand service to buyers of traditional homes far inland.
