Growing up in neighboring Columbus County meant that Ocean Isle Beach was the beach my family visited. Over the years, I developed an appreciation for the peaceful setting and family atmosphere. After a career in education as an English teacher and a school administrator, I joined my husband, a retired commercial airline pilot, in real estate brokerage at Ocean Isle in 2006. During the last 18 years I have specialized in residential real estate, and worked with my husband in developing private fractional ownership properties on the island. My husband has quite a bit of experience in large tracts of land as well as property development, and we have enjoyed giving our clients personal top notch service.

In 2006, I became a North Carolina Real Estate Commission approved instructor and continued to teach real estate courses until 2023. I guess once a teacher always a teacher.

Today, my husband and I live at Ocean Isle Beach which our children and grandchildren love. In the summer some of the family is visiting at least once a month. What a wonderful place to make memories!
