Point natives, and started spending time on Holden Beach in the late 1960's. It was almost 30
years ago when we bought our first home on the island. Having experienced life on the barrier
islands, and watching our three boys learn and grow on the beaches, the Intracoastal
Waterway, and local rivers, it is easy to understand what is attracting so many people to this area.
