For years, Southeast Brunswick County has been a big part of my life. Shortly after hurricane Hazel stormed our coast, my dad & other family members drove from Durham & bought center island lots at Long Beach, NC (now Oak Island). Soon small cinderblock houses popped up where we vacationed as often as possible. Mornings were spent slicing the Intracoastal Water way on slaloms & afternoons were reserved for challenging waves on dime store rafts. Since moving here, my life has gotten even better through helping others to explore the tranquil days & uncomplicated lifestyle of coastal living.
