When our youngest graduated High School in Connecticut, along with my husband's New York branch location shutting down and then working remotely from home, we realized we could live almost anywhere. After much research and armed with a very long wish list of everything we could dream of to have in a new hometown, along with the plan to ultimately spend our retirement years there also, we were lucky enough to find that location right here along the North Carolina coast in Brunswick County.

Beyond my real estate career, I bring a dozen years of experience in the public sector in program coordination, human resources, and managing elder care facilities. My specialty was helping those with life changes, be it an intentional choice or not, to adapt, adjust, and appreciate the gifts of what new environments can hold. In addition I have over 15 years of corporate experience in the telecommunications industry ranging from operations management, computer programming, to systems analysis. My work experience has given me the tools necessary to be an effective communicator and dedicated problem solver, and belief that together we can always find a way to meet with success. I have always enjoyed being an active community volunteer. My past volunteer organizations include Cancer Fundraising, hometown Community Service Organization, Civil Air Patrol, Historic Preservation Societies, as well as being very active in the local schools and churches.

My personal motto is "embrace change" and I am so excited to be working at Southport Realty and helping others do just that right here in 'America's Happiest Seaside Town', as it surely was for me and my family.
