After a combined total of 67 years in education, Trudy and her husband, Harold, have left the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia to follow the lure of the changing tides and settle on the intra-coastal waterway in Sunset Beach, NC. Now that their three children are grown and have families of their own, Trudy and Harold have traded the cold mountain trout streams in Virginia for catching crabs and flounder off of their dock.

After completing a master’s degree at Virginia Tech, the last 18 years of Trudy’s career in elementary education were spent as an elementary guidance counselor. Where she once guided children to develop coping and decision making skills, she now guides adults to locations and opportunities available for purchasing their dream homes in beautiful Brunswick County.

Joining the McNeely Team, a top producing group at Coldwell Banker Sea Coast, truly makes this a family commitment to your family to find the perfect home. The team leaders, Tiffany and Eddie McNeely are Trudy’s daughter and son-in-law. Now the mother learns from the daughter.

When she is not showing property, Trudy enjoys spending time with her family- especially her six grandchildren. As a sewing enthusiast, her favorite hobby is machine embroidery. Her hobby list also includes: traveling with her husband, reading, biking on the beach, kayaking, fishing from the dock, and cooking for her family.
