Born in Covington, KY in 1956 as the only boy and the oldest child in a family with 4 sisters, I grew up on my grandparent's farm. Eventually we moved to Sanford, NC and then to Laurinburg, where I met my wife of 43 years in while in high school and playing football. We married and had 2 children, both boys. We are very proud to have one grandson who is a Marine stationed at Camp Pendleton in San Diego, CA. We also have two step-grandchildren and one step-great grandson.



We moved to Brunswick County in 2002 as my wife's job of 10 years moved the Medical Practice from Laurinburg to Brunswick County. She was the Practice Manager and a Certified Coder and Medical Biller. She is also a Real Estate Broker since 1978. We are proud to have a grandson who is a Marine stationed at Camp Pendleton in San Diego, CA. We also have two step-grandchildren and one step-great grandson.
