Having always been curious about Real Estate, I saw that there was a need to educate people about buying, selling, and investing. Deciding to enter the business in 1996 to serve the Triangle area of North Carolina. I realized how careful planning, based on each family's needs, and the right timing can bring life-changing results. Later, I met many clients who were going in the wrong direction and was able to help them make more informed and profitable decisions. Several times I even had to suggest that they DON'T buy or sell at all!
Over the years I have taught educational seminars for home buyers, sellers, and investors. These events have been held at various RTP companies, The City of Raleigh, Wake Technical Community College, and at private events. I have written many Real Estate articles that were filled with industry hints and tips that allowed my clients to make more informed decisions.
My own experience as a first time home buyer was less then pleasant. My husband and I didn't have enough knowledge of building, buying, negotiating, financing, or inspecting properties. It was a very stressful process and we made many mistakes along the way.
I thought to myself there must be a better way to buy and sell real estate. We wanted to be savvy enough to make all the right decisions and I was certain there were many others like us who wished to be well informed buyers as well. So, I decided to share my knowledge with other people. This way, I could make a difference in the Real Estate industry one person at a time. In addition to the articles I published, I reached out to the Triangle community as a speaker on a local radio program where I shared a wealth of Real Estate information.
Throughout my career I achieved the Real Estate Innovator Award and numerous sales awards from leading Real Estate giants like Remax, Coldwell Banker and Keller Williams. I also was listed among America's Best Real Estate Professionals.
