My name is Mary Wheatley. I grew up in Whiteville, NC and after graduate school, returned to Columbus County to raise my two children with my husband, Brent. I have been an active resident of Columbus County since 2010; participating and chairing Dancing with the Vineland Stars, a fundraiser for Whiteville's historic train depot; participating in Columbus County's Lip Sync Battle, a fundraiser for Families First and Columbus County Arts Council. I also was a participant in Leadership Columbus, an organization to enhance my leadership skills to allow me to better serve Columbus County.
