Susan is a NC Realtor who joined Welcome Home Realty, Ocean Isle Beach, NC in November 2023. Susan is a 2nd generation UNC Chapel Hill alum. She moved to Calabash in 2021 and enjoys travel. Her favorite NC destinations are Sunset Beach, Ocean Isle Beach, Nags Head and Manteo on the Outer Banks, Top Sail Beach, Asheville, Flat Rock/Hendersonville and Saluda. In 2006 Susan became a SC Broker in the Charleston, SC area where she lived for 15 years. Her experience in remodeling, investing, property management and working with business owners brings insight into the experience of buying and selling real estate. She's a Rotarian. Her church background includes singing in child, teenage and adult choirs in Greenville, SC, Richmond and Arlington, VA and Charleston where she also co-founded a church. Susan has much experience in teaching educational seminars in Washington, DC after the Fall of the Berlin to visiting foreign dignitaries from the former Soviet Union, Central and Eastern Europe, Latin America, Taiwan, Israel, Africa, and Canada. The World Bank sent Susan to Guatemala for an educational program. She developed an outreach program over 2 years for young professionals in post-apartheid South Africa. In 2019, she spent 6 months in Europe promoting American manufacturing interests in the US.
