Scott Fortney, a top-producing real estate broker for 25+ years, is most proud of his continuing work with his loyal "legacy clients," many of whom have trusted him with their real estate transactions for more than two decades.

Scott's passion is getting his clients to the closing table. He knows that, as their go-to Realtor, they count on his wealth of knowledge and experience; his expert marketing and negotiation skills; his strength in managing the myriad details of each real estate deal; and his confident, honest, and thoughtful approach.

Prior to his teams expansion into North Carolina, Scott was the long-time Owner/Principal Broker of Fortney Fine Properties in Alexandria, Va. In Northern Virginia — and now in Brunswick and Hanover Counties — Scott enjoys working with a diverse array of clients: from first-time homebuyers and empty-nesters to buyers of multi-unit investment buildings. Scott is thrilled and honored to be building a deep foundation of satisfied clients in beautiful Southeastern North Carolina!

Scott, a graduate of The College of William and Mary, grew up in a true "real estate family." His grandfather, father uncles, cousins, father-in-law, and brother-in-law have all been key real estate leaders in their communities.

A member of the Brunswick County Board of Realtors, Scott has been awarded the elite Life Top Producer status by the Northern Virginia Association of Realtors (NVAR) and is a 25+-year member of NVAR's Multi-Million Dollar Sales Club. Scott is a Certified E-Pro Internet Professional; Certified Residential Specialist; former NVAR Board of Directors Member; program sponsor/volunteer with Brunswick County's WAVES 4 K.I.D.S.; and a longtime Kiwanis Club member.
